Georgian broadcaster GPB has launched it's Eurovision website containing some important information. It is stated there that national broadcaster was searching till 25th of December for songs for Sopho Khalvashi. The genre of the songs must have been pop-folk, while language of performance English-Georgian (song is to be simultaneously performed in both languages). 5 songs selected are as follows:
Freedom (Mikheil Mdinaradze - Tornike Turmanidze) Fantasy Land (Zurab Makhniashvili - Giorge Gogolashvili) On Adjarian Motives (Liliko Nemsadze - Gia Jokhadze) My Story (Beqa Jafaridze - Bibi Kvachadze) Tell Me Why (Otar Tatishvili)

As GPB has informed the date for national final has been rescheduled and set on March 3rd, when Sopho will perform selected songs at Tbilisi Philarmonic Big Hall, when the viewers will be able to select best song via SMS voting.

Грузинская телекомпания GPB открыла вебсайт, посвященный участию страны в конкурсе Евровидение, который содержит некоторую важную информацию. Как сообщается, до 25 декабря национальная телекомпания вела поиск песни для Софо Халваши, участвующая песня должна была удовлетворять следующим условиям - стиль поп-фолк, язык исполнения - английский и грузинский (песня будет исполняться в двуязычной версии. Были выбраны 5 песен:

Как сообщили в GPB, национальный финал назначен на 3 марта, когда на концерте в Большом Филармоническом Концертом Зале Тбилиси Софо Халваши исполнит 5 участвующих песен и зрители смогут определить лучшую из них СМС голосованием.
